As part of our Leadership Lessons series, this month we are pleased to host a session with Mr Harish Mehta, a co-founder of Nasscom and its first elected President, on June 19th at 4.00 pm. Mr Mehta has played a central role in the rise of Nasscom as one of the world's most successful industry associations. He is also an award-winning author of the 2022 national bestselling book – The Maverick Effect – which tells the story of the rise of India’s IT industry, and that of India itself. The book has been translated in several languages. The IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry has instituted a ‘Maverick Effect’ award. Mr Mehta has contributed in many other ways to India’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. He brought Silicon Valley’s The Indus Entrepreneurs, TiE to India in 1999 and promoted the Indian Angel Network in the Western region.
