T.G.Dhandapani, Chartered Accountant has more than 42 years of professional experience in the fields of Finance, Business planning, Operations, Projects and IT. He has been serving in TVS group for 38 years and was accountable for IT strategy formulation, execution and maintenance for 10 companies including TVS Motor. Retired from day to day service, TGD is a freelance consultant in digital transformation.

As Financial Controller, TGD handled entire finance and accounting functions of manufacturing companies be it Design to Manufacture, Order to Pay or Order to Cash apart from Compliance of indirect and direct tax regulations.

Lean manufacturing, electronic Kanban, digitization of TPM and NPD process, electronic collaboration with suppliers and customers, digitization of new product development mobile applications process, IoT, M2M are major achievements in IT implementations.

He has lead in-house development Dealer Management System - an ERP for TVS Motor Dealers and all 2500+ dealers have adopted the system across India and Indonesia. Also private cloud based DMS solution has been provided to 4000 authorized service centers.

A new business model has been developed titled enabled oil business which has automated all commercial processes end-to-end using Information Technology.             Rs 3 billion business with half a million transactions is handled by a single person.
